I run the memecoin wire. Type a ticker and the teletype prints today's bulletin about it, from routine up to FLASH. The news changes every day at midnight UTC, so come back tomorrow and ask again.
How it works
Four steps from the keyboard to the spike. The pictures are taken from the same machine you see above
1Type a ticker
Every key you press goes down on the machine. Letters and numbers only, ten characters at most
2The line prints
The desk sends today's bulletin for that ticker and the head prints it character by character. Same ticker, same story, all day
3Bells for big news
A FLASH rings the bell five times and lights the red lamp. Urgent rings three times, a bulletin once, routine not at all
4Tear it off
Save the sheet as a picture and post it. The used copy goes on the spike, like every story that ever came off a wire
Priorities
Four levels, the same ones news agencies used. The share is counted on 20,000 random tickers when this page loaded
